Why study electronics technology?

Electronics engineering, or sometimes electronic engineering, is a branch of engineering that deals with the construction, modification, enhancement of various components, devices (such as electron tubes, transistors, integrated circuits) with the help of scientific knowledge about the effects and behavior of electrons. Electrical energy is used as the driving force for electronics equipment or components. Among the branches of this engineering are electrical power, telecommunication engineering, semiconductor circuits. Electronics Technology students of City Polytechnic Institute are working in various reputed government and private institutions of the country. Our students are successfully working in all these institutions. Compared to other polytechnics of Khulna Division, the students of Electronics Department of City Polytechnic are one step ahead in the development of technology, the real proof of this is Skill’s Competition. 5 (five) times in a row, students of Electronics Technology have won 1st and 2nd place at the departmental level in Skill’s Competition. Also, students of City Polytechnic play a significant role in various developmental works of the country.

Importance of Electronics Technology

“Electronic engineering” as a profession originated in the development of the telephone industries in the early 20th century due to the technological development of the radio and telegraph industries in the late 20th century. Radio was able to attract people’s attention because of the technology that could be used to communicate messages. By the 1920s, many broadcasts that had begun before World War I were “amateur”. Modern versions of large-scale electronic engineering, such as the development of telephone, radio and television equipment, as well as radar, sonar, advanced weapons, and advanced weapon systems, led to the development of electronic systems during World War II.

Behind every scientific discovery in modern civilization is the contribution of electronics. Besides, there can be no substitute for electronics in the diagnosis of all types of health-related diseases. Therefore, Electronics Engineering is positioned as an important branch in this rapidly developing society. Electronics is always presenting itself in a new way as a means of people’s daily life and survival. People are depending on Electronics every moment for better living. In a word, it is possible to bring this huge world in hand only for Electronics. To a very limited extent only electronics can generate its own employment. For example: IPS, UPS, VOLT STABILIZER, TV REMOTE, VCD, DVD, POWER SUPPLY etc. factory can make.

Workplace

There are numerous job opportunities for sub-assistant engineer in all the institutions in Bangladesh government and private TV Station, Railway Station, BTCL.

At present mobile sector in Bangladesh has made great progress. As a result, new job opportunities have been created for Electronics Diploma Engineers.

There are job opportunities for sub-assistant engineers in mobile companies.

There are job opportunities for sub-assistant engineers in radio, meteorological department, radar stations etc. in Bangladesh.
