Diploma in Computer Engineering is a course of 4 years, 8 semesters. Currently, one of the job sectors in the country’s market is Computer Engineering or ICT dependent. Computer Engineering (Electronic and Computer Engineering) is an applied discipline in which elements of electrical engineering and computer science are well-coordinated. Computer engineers have specialized education and skills in electronics engineering, software design, and hardware-software integration. Computer engineers contribute to various areas of computing, from microprocessor, personal computer, and supercomputer design to circuit design. Common tasks of a computer engineer include developing software for general and specialized computers, writing firmware for embedded microcontrollers, designing various VLSI chips, designing various analog sensors, designing various circuit boards, and designing operating systems, etc. Computer engineers are well-suited for research in robotics, which is completely dependent on digital systems to control various electronic systems such as motors, communication systems, sensors, etc. In this world of virtual world, people are becoming computer dependent day by day due to which the demand of skilled engineers passed from computer engineering department is increasing.
